How it works
From first question
to signed pack
Four clear steps. A private link instead of a password, guidance on every question, and a full record when you're done.
-
1
Pay once, get your link
Checkout takes a minute. Your private link arrives by email, with no password to remember.
-
2
Answer guided questions
One topic per screen. Every question explains why it's asked, and live checks catch problems as you type.
-
3
Everyone e-signs
Tenants receive the written statement first, then sign online. Guarantors sign their own guarantee.
-
4
Pack delivered
The signed move-in pack goes to every party, and we remind you before the 30-day deposit deadline.
Message bubbles are illustrative examples.
E-signing built in
Signed from any phone.
No printer, no post.
When the documents are ready, everyone signs online in a few minutes. Tenants, guarantors and you, wherever they are. No apps, no accounts, no chasing paper.
-
Everyone gets their own private link
Tenants, guarantors and you each receive an email with a personal signing link. Nobody needs an account.
-
Written statement first
Tenants are shown the written statement of terms before they can sign, as the new rules require.
-
Sign on phone, tablet or computer
Draw or type a signature in the browser. It takes a couple of minutes.
-
See who has signed
Your dashboard shows each person's status. If someone spots a mistake, they can decline with a reason; you fix it and send again.
-
A record of everything
When everyone has signed, the signed documents and an audit certificate showing who signed and when are added to the move-in pack.
Electronic signatures are recognised in English law for tenancy agreements. Guarantees are signed as written guarantees, not deeds, so no witness is needed. This is general information, not legal advice.

The rules changed on 1 May 2026
Old templates,
new rules
New lets in England are now assured periodic tenancies. Fixed-term ASTs and "no-fault" notices don't fit, and the paperwork has to arrive in the right order.
Doing it the old way
- –A downloaded AST with a fixed end date
- –Written terms sent after signing, if at all
- –Deposit cap worked out on the back of an envelope
- –The 30-day deposit deadline remembered too late
With Rental Pack
- ✓An assured periodic tenancy, no end date
- ✓Tenants get the written statement before they can sign
- ✓The legal deposit maximum shown as you type
- ✓Reminders before the deposit deadline
Guided, not guesswork
Every question explains why it's asked and which rule it relates to.
Clear limits
Templates and workflow, not legal advice. You stay responsible, and we say so plainly.
Written down
Who received what, and when they signed, is kept on record for each tenancy.

FAQs
Fair questions,
straight answers
Something not covered? Start a pack and use the guidance on each question, or get in touch.
Is this legal advice?
No. Rental Pack provides document templates and a guided workflow. It isn't a law firm and doesn't give legal advice. You remain responsible for complying with the law, and for complex situations consider speaking to a solicitor.
Which properties does it cover?
Residential lets in England on assured periodic tenancies under the rules in force from 1 May 2026. Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and HMOs aren't covered yet.
Do I or my tenants need an account?
No. After payment we email you a private link. Tenants and guarantors each get their own private link to read and sign. If a link is lost, request a new one from 'Find my order'.
How does e-signing work?
Each person signs online in their browser. Tenants see the written statement of terms before they can sign. When everyone has signed, the signed documents and an audit certificate are added to the move-in pack.
Do you protect the deposit for me?
No. You protect it with your chosen government-approved scheme. Rental Pack records the details, includes the prescribed information, and reminds you before the 30-day deadline.
What if a tenant spots a mistake before signing?
They can decline with a reason. Signing is cancelled, you edit the details, and the documents are regenerated for everyone to sign again.
Can a letting agent use it?
Yes. Choose 'letting agent' when you start. The landlord is still named on the documents, and the agent manages the process.
What happens to our data?
Documents are only visible to the people they're meant for, through private links. Unpaid orders are anonymised after 30 days.
